How do I know what session I should select?
Choosing between a Mini Session and an Extended Session really comes down to what you want from the experience and how you plan to use your photos.
What does my session fee include?
The session fee covers the time it takes the photographer to take the portraits and the time for our downloaders to download and post your photos to your online gallery. Purchasing prints, products or additional services (i.e. glass glare removal, retouching) will be an additional charge. Those fees can be found once you are in your online gallery.
How do I pay for my Mini Session?
We do not have a way to pay for your Mini Session online. If you are visiting our Studio for your Mini Session, you can either call ahead and pay with a credit card over the phone or pay with credit card, cash or money order when you arrive for your session. If you scheduled a Mini Session at your school, you can call our Studio to pay with a credit card over the phone or you can provide the credit card number to the photographer the day of your session. We also accept cash and money order at the school, but photographers will not be able to make change so please bring the exact amount for your session.
Is my yearbook photo included in my session?
Yes! All sessions include a yearbook photo. We are contracted with the school to be the official yearbook photographer and want to make sure everyone is included in the yearbook.
When is my deadline to select my yearbook?
Every school has a different deadline to select your yearbook photo. Those deadlines can be found on your school specific page. Make sure you have your photo taken in enough time to see and select which one you want in the yearbook.
Why haven’t I received or seen my online gallery/proofs?
If you haven’t received an email from the ‘Image Connection’ with a link to your gallery it could be for a few different reasons. Either you didn’t pay for your session, we don’t have the right email for you (or it went to your spam/junk folder), or you selected a Yearbook Only session. If you selected the Yearbook Only session, you won’t receive an email gallery with your proofs. If you selected any other Mini Session, check your spam/junk folders to see if you received anything from ‘The Image Connection’, if not, then give our Studio a call and we can help!
What happens if I don’t select my yearbook photo by the deadline on my school page?
If you don’t select a yearbook photo by the deadline posted on your school specific page, our studio will select one for you. We would rather you select the photo that will appear in the yearbook so make sure to view and select your photos before the deadline!
What is the difference between a Yearbook Plus session and Yearbook Only session?
The Yearbook Plus session includes multiple yearbook head-and-shoulder images. You will receive an online gallery to view your proofs and choose your yearbook photo. Retouching is available. This session will give you more flexibility and a better chance of getting a yearbook photo you love. They are offered both in the studio (May – August) and at school (July – September).
The Yearbook Only session is one head-and-shoulder image. There are no proofs or retouching provided, the one photo taken is the one that will appear in the yearbook. These sessions are free and are only offered at the school in September.
Why are Supreme sessions only 15 minutes when booking online but the description says they are 25 minutes long?
This is just the way our online booking tool works. You are reserving the time for the indoor portraits to be taken. Your yearbook photo will be first followed by some casual photos. Once you are done inside, you will proceed outdoors to complete your session.
What’s the difference between a Mini Session and an Extended Session?
Mini Sessions are short (5 – 25 minutes) portrait sessions designed to be efficient and convenient, with no minimum purchase requirement. Because of the shorter time, the number of poses and outfits is limited compared to extended sessions. Extended Sessions provide a more thorough portrait experience with extra time for multiple poses, outfit changes, and more individualized attention. Because there’s more time, photographers can capture a broader set of poses, expressions, and possibly outdoor or creative shots. There is a minimum purchase requirement with extended sessions that our Sales Representatives can explain.
